WORKING EFFECTIVELY WITH ABORIGINAL PEOPLES™ – Online

Do you have a need to work effectively with Aboriginal Peoples including:  Indian, Inuit, and  Métis Peoples?  Are you looking to differentiate yourself from the crowd or perhaps even looking for a new career opportunity?  Working Effectively with Aboriginal Peoples™ is the online resource for you!

Watch this video “Are Aboriginal Peoples all the same?”  It’s a small sample of what  you will learn and demonstrates our approach to working with people looking for awareness training or help working with Aboriginal Peoples.

Aboriginal issues like self-government, land claims, rights, title and aboriginal consultation represent some of the biggest change, challenges, risks and exciting opportunities for individuals and organizations today. With some tried and proven approaches individuals and organizations can position themselves to take advantage of the major change under way in Canada now.

Using this resource will help you communicate across cultures with confidence as we provide practical approaches to help you develop good working relationships with Aboriginal Peoples and communities.  We will help you understand why things seem to go well in meetings but then fall apart in the implementation for reasons that aren’t always apparent. We also provide a review of historical events and their relation to the present economic environment; explore critical issues of taxation, housing, and education; show you how working with Aboriginal Peoples can enhance your career and business.

Keep in mind this is not like the other aboriginal awareness training or sensitivity training out there. In this online resource we take the learning beyond aboriginal awareness or sensitivity training, and provide you with practical hints, tips, and suggestions to help you work effectively with Aboriginal Peoples in an often complex environment that does not normally allow for trial and error.
