Alejandra Navarro is a Mexican woman who has been living in Canada for the majority of her life. She has been gratefully living and learning on lək̓ʷəŋən (Lekwungen) Traditional Territory since 2021.

As a young immigrant, Alejandra has learned a lot about the importance of seeking knowledge and understanding that expands beyond her own lived experience. She was an events coordinator for a local bookstore which gave her the opportunity to work with and learn from various Indigenous authors. It was during this time that she was first introduced to Bob Joseph’s work.

Alejandra is honoured to be able to join a team with such an important mission.
